Here at SocialFlow, we are proud to announce the release of Forte for Twitter. We’ve been hard at work since we were announced as one of the select few Twitter Ads API partners.

Just as we’ve done with all of our products, we wanted to build something which makes the job of performing well as efficient and easy as possible. As many of you already know, SocialFlow was one of several companies affected by a phishing attack yesterday by hackers calling themselves the Syrian Electronic Army. At no time were our customer accounts or data compromised. However, the SocialFlow Twitter handle, Facebook page, and website were, and several false posts were made from our social accounts.

I’ll give you the details of what happened at the end of this post but the real purpose here is to give you visibility into what happened behind the scenes: how we discovered the problem, what we did to contain it, and what we learned along the way.
