SocialFlow’s development teams are working to implement Instagram into our Publisher Platform, giving our customers similar capabilities for Instagram to those that they currently enjoy publishing to Facebook, Twitter, Apple News, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
We want to make sure that we incorporate the Instagram functionality in ways that improve the publishing experience, meaning that we’re paying particular attention to content ingestion, post creation, optimization & scheduling workflow, and reporting. We know how labor-intensive it’s been to create Instagram posts; our goal is to provide our customers the same efficiencies that they have found for their other distributed/social content.
We are also continuing to focus on Instagram monetization, recognizing that Instagram posts generally do not create referral traffic back to publisher websites. We’ve had success incorporating successful Instagram posts into publisher advertiser offerings, and will continue to provide the tools to facilitate content discovery, brand alignment, and brand safety.
We do not yet have a firm launch date for these capabilities but expect to be able to provide further guidance on timing next week.
