Recently, we announced Instagram publishing capabilities. We’ve rolled out additional Instagram functionality in both the Listen and Reports tabs. Read on for information on the new features for the Listening tab and how to access them.

New Listen Tab Features:

  • View all of your published posts
  • View ‘like’ and comment count by post
  • View comments
  • Link back to original post on Instagram.com
  • See all of your own story’s posts


New Search Column Features (Currently limited to Business Pages):

  • Follow your favorite business pages
  • View pages you follow posts
  • View comment count by post
  • View ‘like’ count by post

If you haven’t yet authorized Instagram Publishing:
follow the steps here: How to Connect My Instagram Account to SocialFlow

If you have authorized Instagram Publishing:
These updates will happen automatically, and no further steps will be needed.

If you historically have used SocialFlow for Instagram Listening:
The current Instagram Listening API will be deprecated by Instagram in the next few weeks, and you will no longer be able to use the Instagram accounts you have authorized in SocialFlow for the current Listen page. If you have the alert below, you will need to re-authorize your Instagram account to access the new Listen tab for Instagram.

In the Listen tab, you will see your old Instagram feed with the alert pictured above.

 

Please note:
When you authorize Instagram accounts into SocialFlow this time, it will count towards your overall social accounts total as allocated in your sales agreement since it includes Publishing functionality. If you do not have room for additional handles at this time, you will need to reach out to your sales or client services rep at SocialFlow to update your current agreement.
