Day Parting: Feature Updates
In April, we announced the release of Day Parting– a new, powerful content scheduling feature. Day Parting allows you to have even more publishing flexibility and control. Create custom segments that set the pace and cadence of your Optimized posts for specific, recurring windows like time of day, and weekdays vs weekends.
Now, we are pleased to announce two important feature updates!
1. Day Parting is now activated on all accounts within the SocialFlow Platform.
Upon release, we asked clients to request Day Parting be activated for their account(s). As of May 27th, Day Parting will now be available for all SocialFlow clients by default.
Note that permissioning applies and Day Parting is only accessible to SocialFlow users who can access the edit social accounts page in the Application Settings section of your SocialFlow interface.
Just click the gear icon above your Queue, then select Day Parting to get started.
2. We’ve updated the user experience
We’ve made updates to the user experience to make it easier to find the rule set you’re looking for. Whether you want to use a rule set or edit it, search is now available (pictured below, at left). Or, if you don’t recall the exact title, you can filter your choices by choosing from among editable, active, or unused rule sets (pictured below, at right). This is particularly helpful for our clients that have created lots of rule sets, making it easier to find what you need!
The search and filter functionalities are available in both the calendar view and the rule set view.
