The newest feature rolled out in the SocialFlow platform allows you to create social content for posts that are not yet live on your sites. This release is a client-requested feature that allows social teams to queue up social content before the corresponding stories go live online, instead of having to wait for the content to be posted online to craft social messaging.
With this update, the SocialFlow app can now ingest not yet live content via RSS. Metadata will be pulled in from the feed itself since the links are not live on a website. Once the content is fetched, SocialFlow users can edit the RSS content and queue their messages, so it is lined up for when the web content is live.
Social content from the “not yet live” RSS feed will be auto-labeled as “not yet live” and an expected go-live date will populate if available from the feed for your convenience when setting publishing options.
